The Creation of Anxiety

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

What is Anxiety? Where does it come from? Did society create it? In this two hour session, we will explore the most current Canadian research on adolescent Anxiety, best evidence practices for treatment and how we as educators can help students live with or overcome their illness. You will also come away with the knowledge to better understand what is "normal" anxiety and what is "pathologic. This information can help students and parents find the treatment that they need. As teachers, we are being asked to learn more, do more, be more. This session will hopefully fill in a few of those tabs for you as you seek to better understand and help your anxious students.
