Using Visual Journals for curriculum is a passion of mine. It gives the chance for children to explore their learning through the arts. It allows for different entry and exits points and an amazing way to assess student understanding using nonverbal representation. This session will be hands on and highlight different techniques and share ideas based on Kindergarten/Grade 1 early literacy. If possible, please bring your own visual journal. Art is a way for children to find themselves and loose themselves at the same time. - Thomas Morton
