Tabletop gaming is fun, easy to learn, easier to teach, and appeals to children of all ages. Combining Alberta Education’s core competencies with both literacy and numeracy, tabletop gaming provides teachers with the opportunity to engage students with a range of scenarios and situations. Join hosts Matthew Dixon and Shane Hewitt as they walk attendees through a number of hands-on activities, modeling how tabletop gaming may be used to achieve a variety of key learner outcomes across multiple classes and grade levels.
