Since the release of Batman Begins in 2005, superhero movies have once again been seen as a big business in Hollywood, with multiple blockbuster release each year. The stories told in superhero movies are also an incredibly useful tool for sharing religion, as many comic book superheroes bring to life religious and moral lessons. Join Evergreen Catholic Chaplain Mike Landry as he discusses our society's fascination with superheroes as well as his presentation of individual superhero stories and clips that you can use to help bring religion lessons to life. Finally, hear how he ties modern day superheroes to the Biblical heroes and saints, helping students to see their own call to be heroes themselves.
