Fun Environmental Activities in your Schoolyard!

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

In this session, we'll highlight a variety of resources and schoolyard activities to help you deepen students' connections with nature and environmental stewardship. You’ll “learn by doing” as many of these activities as possible, and discuss how to connect student learning with their familiar neighbourhood and community.  There are many benefits to students for engaging and connecting with nature including health and personal wellbeing. Many teachers want to engage students in learning in nature but need ideas/activities they can do with their students. This session provides teachers with lots of examples and resources.
