Join Alberta Health Services for a conversation on calming strategies in your classroom. This session is part of the Ever Active Schools Health & Wellness Symposium that includes sessions in the Wellness Hall as well as a few classroom-based sessions like this one. Have you been practicing calming strategies in your classroom? Join our conversation as we explore stress-awareness and self-calming techniques for students of all ages. Come prepared to share what calming tactics have and haven’t worked in your own classrooms and discover practical ways to help students “cool their jets.” Not only will you learn from your colleagues in the room, you will contribute to a list of tried-and-tested calming strategies from teachers across Alberta. Take a deep breath, and let’s begin.
