Cricket is the second most popular sport in the world and one which most Canadians know very little about. With the inaugural Global T20 matches held in Canada this year, featuring some of the biggest names in the game, there's no question that its popularity is on the rise. In this session we'll learn a little of the history of the game but mostly we’ll learn the rules, play its indoor variant, and look at how it can be incorporated as a unit for PE classes. We’ll also answer some of the burning questions people have about the sport: How can a game last for 5 days? Isn't a wicket something in a bank? What's a bail? Why is Donald Bradman the greatest sportsperson of all time?
