CIAAA: Coaching for Life Skills, Character and Sportsmanship
Extra-curricular athletics are an integral part of a school culture. While many coaches are quite versed in the X's and O's some are still unsure of how to integrate the teaching of life skills, character and sportsmanship into their coaching. Athletics is one avenue in which schools can have a massive influence on the character growth of students. This workshop will help coaches and Athletic Directors to start thinking about what their school athletics program represents and how to use sports to reinforce the life skills and character traits that we all want our kids to learn.

Creating Successful Teams
The goal of any school's athletic program is to create successful teams. But what does success mean? Success can defined as a win/loss record, but truly successful teams are those that take what they learn on the court and applying that off the court. Successful teams are those programs that incorporate life lessons and character development into their programs. Successful teams are those that your student athletes will remember fondly once they leave your school. As a coach or an athletic director how can you lead your program to create a successful team.
