Ann Campbell

Ann Campbell is a retired teacher with over two decades in the classroom. After her teaching career she went on to be the Executive Director of Chimo Animal Assisted Wellness Society. Integrating her class room teaching experiences with her knowledge of canine behaviour. The result was the creation of Animal Assisted Education programs found in select city schools. After being at the helm of the organization for a number of years Ann retired from the directorship and continued to volunteer with CAAWLS. Ann went on to Bergin University of Canine Studies where she studied canine sciences and cognition. Her favourite part of that experience were the morning Labs which actually consisted of working with Labrador Retrievers! Her thesis was on the development of an Animal Assisted Education Program that focussed on social emotional learning and building resilence in students. She continues to volunteer at Ben Calf Robe School with her husband and adorable retrievers, Simon and Rosie.
