Kim Friesen Wiens

Kim Friesen Wiens is a music teacher in Edmonton, where she has been teaching for the past 19 years. She has been working on collecting Chinese folksongs and singing games for 4 years, sponsored by the Confucius Institute of Edmonton. Prior to this project, Kim spent part of her Masters of Education course work in China, which she completed in 2014. In addition to these activities, Kim is the Orff movement instructor at the University of Alberta and teaches a curriculum instruction course on music at the University of Alberta.
