Pat Rochon ~ Adventure Traveller

Over the past 30 years, Pat has travelled and traversed over 145 countries across 7 continents. He doesn’t have many stories to tell that are highlighted by basking on sun-kissed beaches, but throw a verb at him similar to trekking, cycling, kayaking, flying, overlanding, etc. and he’ll have wisdom, a fond memory, life lesson and even a humorous story to share. He can knowledgeably introduce anyone to what the world has to offer at any level when it comes to travelling actively and adventurously. Pat’s history in travel expands beyond travelling for personal pleasure. He has spent a combined three decades in sales & management with various sought-after travel providers. Pat also partner’s with Travel Your World International Ltd. collaborating and sharing his diverse expertise in adventure travel. He continues to develop a strong and passionate voice behind encouraging the growth of adventure travel and responsible tourism. He has presented travel talks to 25,000+ people on the fascination of small group and self-guided adventure holidays. His audiences come from all ages and interests, even those who once believed “I can’t do this adventure thing”. Changing the minds of the latter continues to make his career most fulfilling. His passion for educating the world about this captivating version of travel doesn’t stop there. Pat also provides instruction to travel students at educational institutions in both Ontario and Quebec. He has a particular passion for sustainable tourism and humanitarian projects and has made it his mission to continually promote these concepts. Pat Rochon has been referred to by many as "Mr. Adventure". He responds humbly to this accolade, however, when you step through the back door of his history you'll begin to understand why.
